The Hall hosts Pats Chat

The Patriots have moved the popular Pats Chat interaction between area students and a Patriots player onto social media for the 2017 season. Pats Chat involves friendly interaction, questions and answers, and games to draw some spontaneous, entertaining engagement between the students and the player.

The Hall hosts Pats Chat, which is streamed live on Facebook, on most Tuesdays throughout the season. Formerly part of the Totally Patriots television program, Pats Chat provides unique content for Patriots fans to learn about a player off the field. The interaction shows the player’s lighter side and often challenges the player to perform silly activities.

The Sept. 19 Pats Chat guest was running back Burkhead who spoke with a group from Shrewsbury High School. Faced with a wide array of topical questions, Burkhead revealed that he likes country music and that Tom McGraw is his favorite artist. He also is a history and movie buff and since coming over from the Bengals in the offseason, he has walked the Freedom Trail and visited Bunker Hill. Asked which player he admired growing up, the Dallas native mentioned Emmitt Smith, LaDainian Tomlinson and Barry Sanders.

Pats Chat will air on Facebook at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, but times can vary a bit based on the player’s schedule. There will also be Tuesdays on which the football schedule does not permit it to air.
