Tom Brady's name dominated the Patriots record books, but he continues to assault the NFL record books as well.
Brady finished the 2010 regular season by setting the league mark for consecutive pass attempts without an interception (335) and carried that mark over into the 2011 season opener when his string was snapped at 358 on a deflected pass that was snatched out of the air by a Miami defensive lineman.
Brady though for a franchise-best 517 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 2011 opener, a 38-24 Patriots victory at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
The ball used to set the record in 2010 is on display at The Hall along with other record-breaking footballs from Brady's miraculous career. Included in that lot are the balls used in 2007 to tie and set the single-season passing touchdown record. Brady through 50 touchdown passes in 2007 while his top receiver, Randy Moss, caught an NFL record 24 touchdown passes.
