The New England Patriots were selected as the NFL’s best offensive line during the 2010 regular season. The
Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award Presented by Prilosec OTC recognizes the accomplishments of the highest performing offensive line unit and their best-in-class ability to provide consistent, powerful protection for their teammates.
The winning O-Line was determined by a combination of fan voting and the expert analysis of Hall of Fame Coach John Madden. The Madden Protectors Award Trophy will be on display throughout the 2011 season at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon.
The linemen were presented the award following their August 16 training camp practice. The Patriots line paved the way for a rushing attack that gained 1,973 yards while averaging 4.3 yards per carry and allowed 25 sacks while Tom Brady was throwing for nearly 4,000 yards and 36 touchdowns with only four interceptions.
